Rackline’s Integral Lighting Systems Lights the Way

Integral Lighting can be used in conjunction with mobile shelving to incorporate a more economical and cost effective way of lighting access aisles within a system.

Fitted directly to the top shelf of each run of mobile shelving allows the lighting to sit centrally to each access aisle giving optimum illumination.

Each set of lights are fitted with sensor switches which automatically switch the lights on when an access aisle is opened and switch the lights off when an aisle is closed. This allows the lighting around the mobile shelving system to be in use only when required, in turn this is more cost effective and more environmentally friendly.

Individual light strips are also more accessible for maintenance/replacement as they can be easily removed and worked on at lower level, another advantage over ceiling mounted lights.

Rackline recently installed 10,000 linear metres of mobile shelving at University of Exeter with great success.
