“With Rackline’s work done at the Somerset Heritage Centre, now seems the most appropriate time to convey our sincere thanks for the help, understanding, patience and delivery so eagerly given during the project.

Even pre-tendering the initial prompts and concepts given by Rackline were of immense help. The patience shown by Richard Penning and Andy Reed during the design stages was truly beyond reproach; the smallest of details were so well attended and every issue was covered several times - the Record Office Team really enjoyed working with them.

The odd requests, such as our hanging map systems, threw forward a few ponderables; we have Fergus Doherty to thank for the sourcing of materials - the unit is now in place and looks very good, just as requested.

The fit-out by Brian Murphy and his team was delivered to the highest levels, and their standard of finish is so very good. Because of this, snagging problems are few and far between. There were problems caused by other contractors and last minute changes, which should have thrown spanners in the works for the fit-out - Brian’s practical easy going nature meant these were easily and quickly overcome.

We have no intention of addressing another such project for many, many years; but, when that time comes, the hope is that Rackline will once again be available to deliver in just the same way as you have on this occasion”.
