There are only a couple of weeks to go. Time for the office parties, the Secret Santa presents and the decorating of the work Christmas tree. But as you search for those decorations from last year you may also want to take a look around.
As workplaces around the country begin to wind down this time of year, it can be a great time to take stock and get organised.
Here are a few tips:
Clean up
If there is a day or two during the run up to Christmas where you office is quieter than normal, why not plan a clear out? Send an email around and ask everyone to clear out their workspaces.
Recycle
Don’t forget to have separate bins to recycle any unwanted paper, cardboard and plastic.
Storage
It is also a good time to take a look at your office storage. Clear out any rubbish that you no longer need and decide if your storage systems are fit for purpose for the year ahead.
Get organised
If you are doing a stock take then it is wise to order new supplies for the New Year. Remember to order them in advance, as with the Christmas holidays ahead there could be a delay.
