The Lower Ground Floor of the newly refurbished Manchester Central Library is taking shape as the specially designed electronic storage systems provided by British manufacturer Rackline Storage Systems are carefully installed by the highly trained Rackline teams.
Installation work commenced in January 2013, with completion of the powered shelving system expected on time against a demanding client schedule by late April 2013.
The next few weeks will involve the complex commissioning of the Powertrak bases to the mains Power within each archive store, enabling trial operations of the library structures to take place when mains power is distributed to all areas in May 2013.
Please continue to check the Project news link for up to date progress of Rackline’s major projects.
