Rackline started work on Monday 15th February 2010 on a major basement archive fit out at the new KPMG offices at Canary Wharf, working in conjunction with ISG Interior/Exterior.
The project consists of 1,149 Profile bays to create a storage capacity of 6,411 linear metres, storing legal documents, all mounted onto Rackline Monotrak mobile bases.
Due to major time constraints on the overall build project, ISG required a solution that could be designed, approved, manufactured and completed on site by no later than the end of March 2010.
The time constraints left Rackline with the challenge of meeting the required completion date from design to final installation over an 8 week period.
In order to achieve such a challenging installation date on such a large project, Rackline arrived at the site on the 15th February 2010 to begin installation.
This followed two weeks of intense planning by Rackline, which involved final design layout and approval, detailed site surveys, pre start site meetings and detailed Method Statements & Risk Assessments.
The installation period is now well within its second week and the project is running on schedule to meet the required completion date of the end of March 2010, a great team achievement given such tight time constraints.
