Rackline was approached by Bristol Old Vic to design a high-density storage solution for their records and marketing material which was to be stored within an allocated area for storage by the theatre. The system also needed to be flexible to accommodate the varied material that needed to be stored and contain lockable areas to store the confidential records.
Rackline installed 34 bays of Profile adjustable shelving mounted onto Monotrak mobile bases, eight mobile bases and one static base, the system was designed to be completed lockable to accommodate an amount of confidential records. Steel end panels were fitted to the front end of the system to complete the overall look and allow for referencing labels to be added. By using the Monotrak mobile system, the tracks could be placed onto the existing floor without the need for an infill floor or tracks in the aisles. The high-density system achieved a 50% increase in storage capacity when compared to traditional static shelving.
“We were looking for a system that would maximise the storage capacity within a small area, provide flexibility for the variety of items that were to be stored, plus provide a level of security for our confidential records – Rackline provided an ideal solution, which was delivered on time and within our budget…’ – Mr Aidan Woodburn, General Manager
